What is ELL Breaking Barriers?

Who We Are

ELL Breaking Barriers provides teachers with high-quality English Language Learner (ELL) resources. The name, ELL Breaking Barriers, is inspired by my drive to erase achievement gaps. When I design new curriculum, I mold my new lessons with best practice research. 


I seek to erase achievement gaps with the products I create and want to share my resources with teachers to reach more students. 


My senior year capstone project at St. Olaf College is titled, Best Practices in the English Learners’ Classroom: Planning, Instruction, and Assessment, A Focus on Primary Grades This paper demonstrates my continued commitment to effective EL instruction, aligned with current research. You can find my research paper at the bottom of the page.
